How it all began.
Franklin came first. Eight months later came Oliver — and not long after, Frank & Ollie was born.
I’d always loved making things for my own kids when they were little, so when the kids came along, I found myself doing it all over again. Frank & Ollie began with personalized embroidery, followed by the hand-stitched name sweaters that became the heart of the shop.
Then came Louise, George and Ezra — and suddenly there was a whole lot more childhood around here to inspire me.
More than 3,000 sweaters later, Frank & Ollie has grown right along with them. Today, I’m back at my drawing table creating original illustrations inspired by the funny, messy, wonderfully ordinary things kids do — muddy knees, pockets full of rocks, endless questions and all.
Because childhood doesn’t need to be perfect to be worth remembering.
The everyday stuff is the good stuff.
